Sales Territory -  Cincinnati / Western Ohio

*Qualified Candidates to reside in OH. 80%-90% travel
   

Position Summary: The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining a regular call cycle with existing and prospective accounts and maintains day-to-day contact with retailers. This position also promotes product sales and counsel’s retail pharmacist on the various services and programs this wholesale distributor offers. 

Please note - This is not a pharmaceutical sales representative position.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Capture new business develop leads and manage and develop existing accounts.
  • Promotes the Company as the best choice in pharmacy wholesaler
  • Be fluent and able to explain to existing & potential customers the Company’s terms, conditions of sale, and policies
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and terms
  • Recommend products and services to customers, based on customer needs and interests.
  • Contact existing and prospective customers to provide information on products and programs.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing customer support and account management.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Prepare customer applications, sales contracts and order forms
  • Participate in the customer application development and approval process.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
  • Work with retail managers to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising.
  • This position requires frequent travel within and outside sales region


Position Minimal Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
 
Experience:
Three to seven years sales experience
Sales experience in wholesale distributor working with retail pharmacies / pharmacist required
       Or sales experience in selling services within retail pharmacies.

Must be willing to travel (including overnight travel) within the assigned territory; travels to events such as conferences, trade shows, and sales meetings.
Strong consultative selling skills
Strong  organizational and presentation skills
Superb time management skills; ability to schedule customer appointments in advance-plan and prioritize
Experience with CRM programs and Microsoft Office software
Valid and clear driving record
 
 
Work Schedule / Compensation Overview:  
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with overnight travel as needed
