Executive & Accounting Assistant
Office location –Eighty-Four, PA

Our Client, a master distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, steel and miscellaneous piping materials related to the oil and gas, mining, industrial and plumbing industries, is seeking an experienced Executive/Accounting Assistant to join their team. This position is responsible for assisting local Company Executive and the Corporate Office Accounting Department. 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience in a fast-paced office setting
  • Minimum of 2 years of directly assisting Company Executives or Business Owners
  • Previous experience working with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and QuickBooks is required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with efficient and accurate data entry
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact productively with customers and co-workers
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to details
  • Excellent time management – ability to maintain schedule and work independently
  • Must be willing to travel to New Mexico for 1-2 weeks for paid training
  • Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background check
Responsibilities:
  • Directly assisting Company Owner with day to day operations and communications
  • Liaison between this satellite location and the Corporate office location in New Mexico
  • Assist with processing and verifying AP/AR documentation. 
  • Follow through on Purchase Orders to ensure correct information, pricing and shipping time frames.
  • Prepare mail to employees, vendors, and customers
  • Filing and maintenance of customer and vendor files
  • Assist with payroll preparations
  • Answer phones and provide helpful customer service to clients, supervisors, and fellow employees
  • Assisting with general office tasks – Accurate filing, mail distribution, ordering supplies, maintain cleanliness of office, etc.
Schedule / Benefits Overview:
  • Full- Time position; typical schedule is Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM
  • Overtime is required as need
  • Hourly wage is based on experience
  • 1-2 Weeks paid training in New Mexico is required
  • Medical, Dental and Vision available after 90 days of service
  • 401K after 1 year available with Company match
